WORKSHOP WEEKEND

We open our festival with an afternoon of Master Classes taught by top international & local professionals in the art of dance.

A semi-formal pre-opening night event 45 minutes before the show, join us for a meet and greet to get to know the artists in the foyer at DIAVOLO Space.

The evening features 10 amazing artists internationally & locally. This segment  includes the Emerging Artist Competition. One Winner receive an award & $450 honorarium.

A great way for the artists to develop camaraderie participating in informal gatherings, happenings, and site specific projects. 

Another facet of our festival is reaching the "at-risk" artists, junior & emerging artists, and those that need a guiding hand. Sign-up to be matched to a Seasoned Professional who can help guide and give feedback to your festival stay and insight on what your future prospects may be. 

Ms. Andressen loves artists and now in its second year is the Emerging Artist Award that is sponsored by Ms. Andressen's dance company: Rubans Rouges Dance. The winner receives a lovely award, and a cash prize. Each year she adds to the prize so the Emerging Artist can receive help and support for their artistry.

Closing Night presents a strong line up of Seasoned Artisans & Emerging Talent for a spectacular night of dance and performance.
